The Niles
Public Library presents a 4-week series about enhancing skills and creating
positive banking relationships called Money Smart. Sessions are every Thursday
in May from 10:30am to Noon. Presenter: Dedra Thomas, Extension Unit
Educator, Consumer and Family Economics, University of Illinois Extension

9 – Financial Recovery:
This workshop will help you assess your situation and guide you in planning
your financial recovery, while also identifying ways to increase income and
decrease and prioritize expenses.

23 – To Your Credit:
Do you know your credit score? This workshop offers a better understanding of
credit and its importance.
May
30 – Bank on It:
Learn the various types of financial institutions and their functions. Your
bank customer service representative will become your new friend.
June 6 – Pay Yourself First:
This workshop will help you understand why you should save. Learn to include
YOU under the other bill tabs!
