This final workshop in our Smart Solution$ series will provide
vital information on how to make smart choices with your money. Participants
will learn to recognize how federal deposit insurance protects deposits, how to
guard against identity theft, how various types of insurance will help manage
risk, and the need to plan for unexpected death or disability.

positive banking relationships called Money Smart. Sessions are every Thursday

This workshop will help you assess your situation and guide you in planning
your financial recovery, while also identifying ways to increase income and
decrease and prioritize expenses.
23 – To Your Credit:
Do you know your credit score? This workshop offers a better understanding of
credit and its importance.
30 – Bank on It:
Learn the various types of financial institutions and their functions. Your
bank customer service representative will become your new friend.
June 6 – Pay Yourself First:
This workshop will help you understand why you should save. Learn to include
YOU under the other bill tabs!

Association and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago are recognizing April 20-27
as Money Smart Week @your library. During this time over 500 FREE educational
programs will be held to stress the importance of financial literacy.
